Software Updates

We've been working very hard throughout the summer holiday season to be able to present the latest software update to our users.

New additions to Nissan database for this update include models: 370Z Z34, Navara D40 and Tiida C11 with fault code readout and identification functions available. The so-far missing descriptions of diagnostic trouble codes are available in the database for Suzuki. This should further facilitate car repairs.

Thanks to the feedback and comments from our users we are able to continuously improve control module diagnosis, scan and Autodetect functions. The changes apply to flagship models, i.e. Megane III, Clio II, Espace IV ph2, Laguna III. These works are carried out on an ongoing basis and the results are introduced with each new update.

"Sensotronic Brake Control" in Mercedes E Class W211 includes adaptation for SBC system activation/deactivation (brake caliper pistons retraction). It is required for works on brake system, and is, additionally, the first such adaptation available for the make. 350CDI (207.423) engine in E Class W207 offers a number of adaptations (required for repairs), i.e. differential pressure sensor, hot film mass air flow sensor, air cleaner, O2 sensor or pressure control valve.

There is a new model on the list of supported vehicles - Grand Cherokee WK II with 3.0CRD V6 engine. The fourth generation of Grand Cherokee, manufactured since 2010, offers 18 control units for diagnosis. Other control units will be added in the upcoming updates.

As far as the support for control units in VAG group is concerned, new additions include i.e. codings to enable configuration of vehicle equipment - for example upon control unit replacement. Verification of new control units is now available as part of the enhanced diagnosis options.

Opel is the last make to face major modifications in this update. Many control modules offer improvements in maintaining control module communication. Control modules within this group are subject to continuous development in adding new verification IDs and advanced functions.

There are also some minor corrections as far as the operation of the software itself is concerned. We focused on further optimisation of the CDIF/3 database to ensure better workflow.

The latest CDIF/3 system edition is now available for download.

All updates can be downloaded after login in the User Zone.
